Course description:
In this course participants who complete the course are able to implement proper safe working apply proper safe working procedures and practices in an engineering workshop. They will be able to perform advanced programming on CNC Wire Cut machines and to setup and operate high speed machining processes to produce a variety of engineering components. They will have the knowledge to implement continuous improvement processes, quality procedures and conduct product and process capability improvements.
Entry requirements:
There are no formal pre-requisites for admission. However, for effective learning, participants should have some work experience in a precision engineering related working environment. They also need to have basic competency in English language.

Postal applications must be accompanied or followed-up by cheque payment for confirmation of place. Students must cross the cheque and pay to Institute of Technical Education. At the back of the cheque, they should write their name, NRIC/FIN, course title, contact number and email address. Students can also register at the Customer Service Centres, in person or through an authorised person during the registration period. They must bring along all relevant documents, including NRIC or work pass and the total fees (cheque, cash, NETS, VISA or Mastercard accepted). Post Secondary Education Account (PSEA) may also be used.
