Course description:
This course is specifically designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to work in a computing environment with the following objectives: To provide a more in-depth knowledge of computer hardware and software, To introduce how computers are integrated into business organisations, To develop the participants' analytical and personal skills necessary to work in a specialised computing and management environment.
Entry requirements:
Applicants must possess one of the following entrance requirements: GCE 'N' Level; GCE 'O' Level; GCE 'A' Level from non-Science related discipline; NITEC, ITE COS or NTC qualifications; Other equivalent qualifications awarded by recognized institutions can be considered on case-by-case basis . Overseas students or students whose first language is not English may need to complete the Professional Certificate in English.
Application details:
S$20 (Non-refundable) fee .Applicants in this programme must possess a C6 credit in English as a First Language (EL1) at GCE ‘O’ Levels. Applicants without a C6 credit in English (EL1) will be required to achieve : A minimum of band 6.0 in the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) conducted by the British Council. A minimum of 213 points (computer-based), 79 points (internet-based) or 550 points (paper-based) in TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language).
