Course description:

This programme is jointly offered by Marketing Institute of Singapore and Curtin University of Technology. It is designed for students who are seeking careers in both finance and marketing. After graduation, they can find employment opportunities in government and non government organisations which include commercial and investment banks, regulatory bodies, stock exchanges, insurance companies and large public corporations. This programme enables them to understand the concepts of risk and return and how to apply these to investment and financing decisions; various financial markets and instruments. It helps to understand the financial statements of corporations and how to interpret them; identify and control of financial risks in a corporation.

Entry requirements:

Applicant should possess either at least two GCE 'A' level passes (minimum 5 points) or equivalent, or a three-year full time diploma in a non-business related study from the polytechnic institutions. All other qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and non-business diploma holders from the local polytechnics are eligible for exemptions of up to four modules.

Application details:

Applicant must submit full time programme application form with S$53.50 non-refundable application processing fee. They application fee can be paid by cheque, cash or they can make payment through NETS and credit cards. Along with this, they must submit certified true copies of educational certificates/degrees/diplomas; and two passport-sized photographs. The completed application forms and supporting documents should be submitted to: Marketing Institute of Singapore Training Centre, International Students’ Department, 10 Raeburn Park, Block C Singapore 088702.
