Course description:
This course is specifically designed for participants to be relevant to social service workers and to assist them to be able to use narrative practices in their work contexts. Narrative approaches to social service delivery centre people as the experts in their own lives and view problems as separate from people. Narrative approaches assume that people have many skills, competencies, beliefs, values, commitments and abilities that will assist them to reduce the influence of problems in their lives. Students must also complete written project; consultations via phone/skype; tape supervision; group supervision; oral presentation of projects; and reading and writing program.
Entry requirements:
Applicants will need to have prior studies in Narrative Therapy.
