Course description:

In this program students are able to grasp the fundamental knowledge of accounting with the following benefits gain an overview of the accounting and finance industry and develop an awareness of current financial accounting and taxation practices and future directions, benefits one’s learning aspirations in career startup with direct application of concepts learnt to the work environment, increase employability with the attainment of an Informatics Academy Certification, complete progression from Diploma to BA (Hons) Accountancy Studies with UOP leading to a straight career pathway and guarantee of a sound education because of extensive tutorial support and teaching environment.

Entry requirements:

Students must have completed Thames International Diploma in Accounting with the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA) Level 1, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Level 1, Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and Certified Accounting Technicians (CAT) fully completed and other equivalent qualifications deemed appropriate by the programme leader. Admissions of mature applicants will lie at the discretion of Informatics Academy under the recommendation from the programme leader. The applicant will need to provide a brief written statement indicating why they wish to undertake this programme. Approved students will be admitted into either the Higher Diploma or Advanced Diploma level, depending on the extent of their work experience.

Application details:

Applicants must pay a non refundable registration fee of S$250. In addition to these, they must submit the completed application form along with the two copies of official transcripts from university/college, two copies of official certificates and two passport photos.
