Course description:
This joint degree program provides training in a variety of computer skills, and includes preparation for industry standard certification in CISCO. It provides a path for IT graduates seeking to move into their profession and management careers. The objective is to provide theory and practical skills in accounting, financial management, marketing, operations management, e-Business technologies, multimedia, programming, networking and software development. The program emphasizes ethical behavior and professional rigour.
Entry requirements:
Students should have a recognised three-year bachelor degree; or a three-year IT or Computer Science Diploma with completion of at least four bridging subjects. Students who do not meet the entry requirements may need to complete the following four bridging subjects: CP 1010 Introduction to Multimedia, CP 1200 Computer Science I, CP 1300 Computer Science II, and CP 1500 Introduction to Database Principles.
Application details:
Students should submit their application form to JCU Singapore Admissions Office together with the following items: application fee of SGD$32.10; translated and notarised academic transcripts; proof of English language proficiency, certified true copies of IELTS/TOEFL or proof of English medium education; and copy of passport for verification of identity. If documentation is not in English, an official certified translation must be included.
