Course description:
This program is designed for students who wish to do research in statistical methods that are motivated by business applications. Students are able to design an individual program of study by combining courses in specific areas of business, such as economics, finance, accounting, marketing or international business with advanced courses in statistical methods.
Entry requirements:
Students must hold a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Students must also complete the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE). For most areas of study, Students may take either the GMAT or GRE. Exceptions are: for economics - GRE is required and for finance - GRE is preferred. Students must indicate the correct institution codes when taking the tests to have scores sent directly to the Chicago Booth PhD Program. For the GMAT, the PhD Program institution code is H9X-9F-05. For the GRE, the PhD Program code is 1501.

Application details:
Students must submit the competed application for admission along with the non refundable application fee of $65. They can apply online or through paper application. In addition to this they must also submit: official GMAT or GRE scores, official TOEFL/IELTS scores, official transcripts from all institutions attended after high school, two letters of reference, resume and an essay.
